Job Summary:
Trane has an exciting new opportunity to join our organization as a Ductless Technical Specialist. In this position you will be working closely with our contractor customers and internal service fulfillment team to ensure proper installation and startup. You will also be providing sales support in the application of Trane VRF and Ductless products. Primarily on post-sale technical & contractor support. First line of defense for technical support prior to calling factory tech support or dispatching service technician.

Where is the work: This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite a week) and will be based out of our Holland, OH location.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for VRF/Ductless product success
Participate in Mitsubishi DSG program as a representative for your district/territory.
Will be trained on Mitsubishi / Trane products and participate in becoming a certified trainer for our internal training program.
Monitor, measure, and modify process measurements to meet customer needs effectively and efficiently.
Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, advising corrective action, and communicating with customers, and co-workers.
Provide commercial and high-level technical product sales training to district office personnel and customers.
Responsible for field training of customers in the installation and troubleshooting of VRF and Ductless products.
Able to troubleshoot VRF and Ductless products.
Able to assist in the startup and commissioning of VRF and ductless products.
Build consultative relationships and trust with owners and contracting customers.
Support District office performance by coaching sales personnel in competent VRF product sales, application, and customer support.
Travel up to 25% within the Great Lakes Region (IN, OH, and MI).
Qualifications:
At least 2 to 5 years of VRF experience is required.
Background in VRF Installation and VRF System Control strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Commercial HVAC systems strongly preferred.
Customer presentation / training skills is preferred.
Base Pay Range - $70,750 - $93,750. Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
