What’s in it for you:
As a People Leader Advisor, you will be responsible for providing advice, counseling and tactical support on a variety of programs and activities covering multiple HR focus areas including employee relations, labour relations, performance management, onboarding and employee engagement. This position reports directly to the Canadian HR Leader, and works closely with our HR Centers of Excellence.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as remote within a geography, accessible to any Canadian Trane location.
What you will do:
Coach and advise managers on talent management practices, answering questions and helping them navigate the performance management system
Collaborate with managers to develop and implement onboarding and engagement plans
Collaborate with members of the shared services team (administration of benefits and leave, payroll, etc.) to answer questions from employees
Monitor and ensure employment practices consistent to legislative requirements and enterprise policies
Support the roll out and adoption of enterprise and region people strategies
Liaise with third parties as required
What you will bring:
Minimum experience: 3-7 years of broad generalist HR experience
Bachelor’s degree with focus on human resources, labor / industrial relations, management, psychology, finance, business or related discipline
Bilingual in English and French (oral and written) preferred
Knowledge of legislation that impacts the employment relationship
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to speak professionally, positively and courteously at all times with all customers, vendors, visitors and employees.
Experience in supporting corporate organizations
Detail oriented, organized, with a strong sense of urgency
Ability to work independently and / or collaboratively with a team, with excellent project management
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks
Experience and knowledge of HRMS and other HR systems preferred; PeopleSoft experience a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Affiliation with provincially regulated HR association preferred. (Example: CHRL certification, etc)
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: 75,000 to 95,000
