Equipment Sales Engineer

Trane Slovakia is hiring an Equipment Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for developing trusting customer relationships and maximizing account share and customer retention with building owner accounts around Banskabystricky, Presovsky and Kosicky region.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day selling activities i.e., identifying sales opportunities, qualifying them, partner with Application and Quotation for the proposals creation and presenting them to the customers, following up on them, negotiating price levels and terms and conditions within the company guidelines and assigned limits, acquiring orders.

  • Achieve assigned sales and customer development focus on Commercial customer acquisition and development.

  • Develop the best total solution to the customer, collaborating with other departments where necessary.

  • Ensure effective collaboration and cooperation to offer the best total solution to the customer.

  • Encourage customer growth and loyalty through continuous support and customer assistance.

  • Properly maintain and timely update all internal systems, including customer database, opportunity pipeline, etc. and regularly report to the management on key metrics

  • Constantly monitor market trends and benchmark against competitors in the assigned territory, feed this information back to the management

  • Adhere to high ethical standards of doing business and unconditionally following the company Ethics and Compliance rules

Requirements

  • Technical Degree - Mechanical, Electrical, Energy or Aeronautic Engineering

  • Proven experience in selling HVAC solution with technical focus, preferably in HVAC area e.g., chillers, heat pumps, AHI, industrial solutions etc.

  • Self-motivated candidate with a hunter mind-set and a willingness to overachieve sales target and build lasting relationship with customers. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision i.e., complete tasks with minimum guidance and supervision.

  • Fluent Slovak and communicative English.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills, along with high integrity and capacity to deal with changing priorities.

  • Highly autonomous and organized and can easily work remotely and from home. The position includes field trips in the specific area.
