Job Summary:

The Collaboration Solutions Engineer will work with multiple technical and non-technical teams throughout the organization to drive the best collaboration solutions and services to meet our company’s needs. This role is required to interpret business requirements into designs, enhancements, maintenance, or new implementations of collaboration systems across the organization.

This position is also responsible for participating in setting the company standards and strategies regarding collaboration solutions. IT Collaboration Solutions Engineers will also be expected to collaborate closely with other IT functions and business partners to research and develop the best strategic solutions for deploying configurations, settings, patches, and applications to support collaboration solutions.

The candidate will also participate in IT related projects, lean activities, and M&As.

Responsibilities:

· Provide technical collaboration solutions from business requirements.

· Support technical solutions and ensure reliable, secure collaboration services.

· Set company standards for collaboration solutions.

· Provide an overall approach to collaboration implementations including technical, business input and user experience along with interoperability within existing systems.

· Participate in diverse IT projects, business projects, and strategic decisions.

· Deliver innovative solutions to challenging customer problems.

· Recommends and participates in the design and implementation of collaboration solution standards, tools, and methodologies.

· Involved end-to-end in collaboration projects, requirements, technologies, vendors, implementation, and handoff to operations.

· Works across all company business units and functional teams to understand interconnectivity and minimize incompatibilities.

· Able to convey time/cost of implementations/activities to senior level management.

· Leverage lean agility to drive process improvements and automation leading to a better employee experience.

· Ensure that all internal customer inquiries and issues are solved correctly and in a prompt and professional manner.

· Partner with our business partners in projects and M&A activities to solution and support the proper collaboration solution per the business’s needs.

· This position sometimes works in a stressful environment often dealing with system startups and demands from all levels of the company.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Lead the management of Microsoft tools including licensing/subscriptions and strategic roadmap solutions.

· Lead the strategic solution regarding Microsoft Teams including roadmaps, integrations, configuration, and governance.

· Lead the strategic configuration, governance, and roadmap for Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, and other collaboration solutions.

· Lead the strategic solution(s) for virtual conferencing and meeting services.

· Lead the standard hardware for on-prem collaboration service solutions.

· Manage the collaboration services and solution support for our company's Executive Leadership Team and their Executive Assistants.

Ideal Qualifications and Competencies:

· Bachelor’s degree in a related IT technical field.

· Minimum of 5+ years of IT technical experience.

· Ability to effectively collaborate with other teams and leaders to achieve a positive, productive outcome.

· Strong knowledge of Cisco Webex, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other collaboration tools.

· Good understanding of video conferencing, codecs, and cameras.

· M365 Design/architecture/operational functionality.
