This position has been designated as Remote within a geography. Preferred work locations:

FL, NC, SC, GA, AL, TN, MS & Southern LA.

Scope: Reporting to the MTA-USA National Sales Manager, the MTA-USA Regional Sales Manager

Southeast will be responsible for MTA product sales growth in their assigned region. This individual will ideally bring market-specific knowledge related to industrial process cooling and experience in industrial sales, application engineering, and quoting. Territory management and key metric reporting will also be critical to success in this role.

This person will operate in conjunction with Trane CHVAC Sales Leaders and Account Managers, providing council on target market penetration, opportunity management, system design, pricing, and service and warranty needs.

In addition, this role will be responsible for training and supporting Trane associates that are actively targeting the industrial market through engineers, contractors, and end-users.

Responsibilities :

• Develop & promote the sale of MTA products in the Southeast region, specifically in the states of FL, NC, SC, GA, AL, TN, MS & Southern LA.

• Provide training to introduce MTA product to all Trane Commercial Sales Offices (CSO) in the assigned territory.

• Assist local Account Managers in identifying target markets and customers in their areas.

• Support local Account Managers by communicating opportunities, helping them to evaluate

customer needs, and providing product selections, performance data, and pricing support.

• Consult directly with customers as needed to assist in closing local business.

• Understand the unique needs of the assigned region and develop sales and implementation

strategies to maximize business closure rates.

• Use Trane’s CRM (Salesforce) to manage all MTA-USA opportunities.

• Develop direct (MTA-USA) and indirect (Trane CSO) OEM relationships, targeting recurring

business in specific application verticals.

• Attend industry-specific trade shows targeting the industrial market and participate in product

seminars, panels, and promotional events to increase market awareness.

• Assess competition, market trends, and economic factors related to the assigned territory.

• Travel along the assigned territory. Up to 50% travel.

Education:

• A bachelor’s degree with a business, technology or engineering emphasis is desired.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of related sales experience.

Ability to establish relationships independently and recognize the real needs of the customer:

• Demonstrates the ability to establish rapport with key customers.

• Looks neat and well-groomed.

• High energy level

Annual Salary Range – $69,000 - $160,000

Disclaimer : This salary range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed, education, experience, travel requirements for the job. Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
